CAPTAIN EDWIN

Hi everybody, this is my new card. I struggled little bit with this one but I hope you like the result :-) This Edwin is from the latest Magnolia Fairy Tale collection and I have to say that I LOVE every single stamp from this collection.

So here is my Captain Edwin:

The DP is by Karen Foster. Actually, I didn't use the original 12 x 12 paper as it is too dark and I wanted to have ALL the tiny pirate images on my card. If I had cut the 12 x 12 paper in a small square it wouldn't be so nice on my card (and what's more I have only one sheet of this paper and I didn't want to waste it because I can't find this paper anywhere here in France, lol). So I scanned my 12 x 12 sheet, reduced it to fit my card, lightened it little bit with Photoshop and distressed with Distress Ink pads.

The text in the background is taken from the song A Pirate's life by Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer. I though it would be a nice background for my Captain Edwin. Again I used Photoshop to play with the words (some words are smaller, bolder or in capital letters....) and I also added some Pirate images.
